Joseph is one of my favorite stories in the Bible. I even like the cartoon of his story. I think I like it because he spent a lot of time waiting for things to happen, through no fault of his own. When you are waiting for things to happen you can start to wonder if it is some sort of punishment. Or people telling stories about "things were going badly until I improved myself somehow, and then things went great." Like you have to be good enough to earn God's favor. Which of course isn't true, but can feel that way when you are waiting.
*Also, sorry this is so late in posting. I've been keeping up with the reading but I'm trying not to be on the computer too late, and I don't always manage to post.*
